This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Ascendant Studio Inc., a corporation organized under the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada (“Ascendant Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), as the owner and operator of the WallShift mobile application (“WallShift” or the “App”), collects, uses, processes, stores, and discloses personal information in connection with your access to and use of the App. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you consent to the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of your information as described below, subject to applicable law and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information Collection

WallShift is designed to collect only limited information necessary for the proper and lawful functioning of the App and provision of its features. The following categories of information may be collected and processed:

  • User-Generated Content: Images, files, and other content utilized within the App are processed solely on your device and are not transmitted to, stored by, or otherwise made accessible to us.
  • Transaction and Feature Access Data: We do not have access to, collect, or store your payment credentials (such as credit card numbers or billing addresses). All payment processing is securely handled by the Google Play Store. We may receive purchase or transaction identifiers and related metadata solely for the purpose of verifying access to paid features.
  • Support and Correspondence: If you contact us in relation to WallShift for support, feedback, or other inquiries, we may retain the content of your communication, including any contact information you voluntarily provide, solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or resolving your request.
  • Diagnostic and Crash Data: We may collect diagnostic information, crash reports, and other technical data related to the operation of the App for the purpose of monitoring performance, investigating issues, improving stability, and enhancing the user experience.

2. Use of Information

We use the information described above for purposes including, but not limited to:

  • Provision, operation, and improvement of the App and its features.
  • Verification of access to paid features and fulfillment of transactions.
  • Responding to user inquiries, feedback, or support requests.
  • Compliance with legal obligations and regulatory requirements.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. We only share your information when necessary to:

  • Process diagnostic and crash reports through trusted service providers that assist us in monitoring, maintaining, and improving the stability, security, and functionality of the App.
  • Verify and provide access to paid features through the Play Store or relevant platform provider.
  • Comply with applicable laws, legal proceedings, or regulatory requirements.

4. Data Security and Retention

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We do not retain user-generated content or personal data beyond what is necessary for transactional or legal purposes, or as required for the operation and support of the App.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us in connection with WallShift, please contact us using the information below so that we may promptly address the matter.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to external sites or integrate third-party services for operational purposes (such as payment processing). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of such third parties. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third-party services accessed through the App.

7. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to amend, modify, or update this Privacy Policy at any time, at our sole discretion. Any such modifications shall become effective immediately upon updating the effective date above. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of WallShift following any such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
